It would be best to inspect the bushes. In fact, I'd get a set (or a new set of wishbones) and change them as a matter of course if it's coming apart to change the shock absorbers. That way, you only have to pay for it to be set up once, and you know everything is good.

If I may be so bold, look at the numbers for HP over a 4/5 years and hand it back at the halfway point. Check the small print and ask the question directly. But you should save most of the deposit/better interest/no mileage limitations...

Last time I did the sums on that, it made the monthly payment significantly more expensive - he'll be financing 17k extra, almost 50% more, over an extra 12-24 months..

Interest rates have gone up, though, since my last deal, so maybe it's more attractive now.

Sounded like a massive PR exercise to me, in an attempt to conceal the reasons that have been mooted on here.  ???

I prefer Fast and Loud personally as I like the stuff they do

I like F&L too, although I am willing to bet that Richard Rawlings is probably intensely annoying in person (and to work for)! ;D The spin-off, however, I find annoying.

Oddly enough, I thought the technical content (albeit at a very basic level) had increased in the last season of WD, with Ant doing lots of "whiteboard" explanations on how bits of car work..

If the 2.6 has solid discs fitted, then tread carefully... It will probably still have the vented calipers fitted...

There is a guide here to tell the calipers apart :y

I will take both the calipers and rotors from my donor car, both are just 2 years old. Aren't the vented calipers the same except the spacer to make them fit the wider rotors?

That's the complete opposite to what the viewers want, especially as Brewer can't even do what little he contributes properly!
It would be better if Edd went with him to assess the potential purchases; that way he could reject some of the disasters that Brewer buys.   ::)

I'm supposed to read the manual?  ;D am going outside excitedly in a minute to check this out!!! I'll let you know the results in a sec!
Well if your not going to FRTM, your next challenge is to work out what that big button does at the back of the center armrest on the center consul.
Fag lighter for the cheap seats  :-\
I dunno , I'm waiting for Mrs Builder to Please read the manual  ;D
I only sit in the front , near the round thing with the Vauxhall badge in the middle
