Pads differences?
« on: 14 December 2015, 11:23:20 »

It's known there are the front TC and OE pads, and the associated price difference, however, just wondering, what about the rears?

I've got two part numbers so far I've found...

GM 9193476

and

GM 9192126 / 93169001

and

Ate 13.8107 - 444.2 1703

Just wondering if the former was the 'TC' pad and the latter maybe what was originally fitted at the factory, sort of thing? Never heard of anyone referring to TC rear pads, only the fronts, so thought I'd put this 'out there'  :)

Not got PN's to hand, but

TC rear, approx. £10, no pins/springs, fit all Omegas
OE rear, approx. £50, comes with springs and pins, hence specific to caliper type (vented or not)

The a guy near me bought up a load of GM stock, and selling OE rears for £10 delivered on egay.  These are the real McCoy. Short pins and spring, so vented users would have to reuse old fitting kit.

Called something like Silverstone Stickers. I have no relationship, just a happy punter.

Ahh, they're the ones I bought the other week! Good to know. So I've got top spec pads, plus the fitting kit? Fair dos  :)
