Where is the temp gauge sender located
« on: 24 November 2016, 12:09:19 »

My 2.2i 2003 temp gauge stopped working yesterday.

I can't find the location of the sender. Where is it located?

I understand there are 2. One for the ECU and one for the gauge.

Thanks

Back of the block in exactly the same place as the v6 :y

Gauge uses a female spade connector, ecu uses a proper plug :y

Had a look with a mirror and torch but I can't find it. Facing the front of the car is it on the left or right and how far down from the cam cover?
 Thanks

Chances are that the spade connector has slipped off ;)
