I am a newbie who has been a member for over a year since I purchased an Omega Elite Estate.  It has now failed its MOT and I am going to have to scrap it due to the ruling that I cannot advertise my vehicle for sale since I have not posted more than 250 posts.  I do understand the reason for this rule but feel it is rather excessive.  Someone out there would have been able to give her a good home and do the work necessary welding work to get her through and end up with a beautiful car with lots of extras.

Hi.  I agree with both and understand the rationale for both too.  I don't post a lot on here but I have owned my 32 elite since 2007 and have been on the site most weeks for approaching 10 years now (and a menber for most of that) reading lots of posts which is great and very helpful and informative - and appreciated.  I haven't posted a lot as I can't/don't do many jobs on the car when needed but I have added a small contribution from time to time.    However, when I come to sell my 32, I would prefer it went to another enthusiast and I would like to think it might be a member on this site who might want to own my particular model and love and 'cotton wool it' for another ten years as I have.  Some distances might fit for selling and viewing -for example I live near Bristol.  I don't have a strong case to make (or to pass comment) as I am a small contributor but I'll never get near 250 posts...............just saying like.
