But yours is a 3.2, presumably with a good history which you would use as part of an advert if you wanted to sell it.
This seller is giving almost no info about the car, other than the fact it has low mileage.

Personally I cant see any Omega being worth £4k these days, but that one, as it stands in the advert, is barely worth  £1k in my opinion.
My 3.2 Elite is very similar to yours (same colour too) has had approx. £1500 in parts replaced within the last year, but has 175k showing on the clock, so is never going to command a resale price in the thousands due to that.
The days when miles on the clock were the main indicator of how good a car is are long gone, but many buyers don't realise this, hence someone trying to sell a car on mileage alone for an extremely high price.

True. With mine I have "invested" a lot of good money and had the car maintained by a Vauxhall main dealer, with nothing but genuine Vx parts.  This is what I would advertise if ever I was to sell. :y

That is also very true. 8) 8)

I would have this over any Omega, any day of the week.  8)

I would imagine that cost around £70,000 when new.

Shall we write the list alphabetically or in order of financial impact?  ;D

The main reason I'm not getting my hand in my pocket is the fact that Ive spent a lot of money on my Omega in the year Ive owned it and will never get it back. It makes sense to keep it for a while yet.  ;)

When compared to what else is around, the asking price isn't that unreasonable for a car with Elite level spec.  Its just we know they are worth SFA. Sadly.

Agreed ,but as always anything is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it, and it would be a very rare individual who would pay anywhere near £4k for any Omega.

Not that I am either in the market, or offering, but I would rather pay £4k for Albs enthusiast maintained 175k example than a Vauxhall maintained Omega. Regardless of mileage :-X

Started to deal with Vx dealers 37 years ago, after dealing with appalling Ford dealerships, and have been with them every since, mixing that and my own mechanical expertise :D :D :D :y :y

Not entirely convinced.  If the equivalent "badge" was only £4k, yes, maybe. But for the (high) Elite spec, age and mileage, somebody with a £5k budget looking for a well specced luxury saloon less than 15yrs old....

...but I'm not one of them ;D.

Given that choice I would probably take a jag, either spending a little less (s-type) or a little more (XJ) than the £4K.
