intermittent wipe/park position

Hello i should have posted here first before going on wanted section.
The wipers dont park correctly and intermittent wipe doesnt always work. So i want to change relays first before going down motor route, can someone please tell me which relays are required?Its a 2002 2.6 saloon thankyou Paul

Check the condition of the balljoints, and then the park switch inside the motor before changing the relays.

Out of interest how do you identify which relay does what in the triangular compartment under the bonnet i see they're numbered but can't see a key anywhere including handbook, thanks for help

You did compare the title of the post and the title of the guide... ???

The relays are, at this point, largely irrelevant.

Pending a reply regarding following the guide, then if it's ok with you, I will possibly post a link to the relays... not that it's a secret, but people should be allowed to look for what they seek.

I'd  agree with you other than the fact intermittent doesn't work ..... sounds electrical to me

If it was just that they'd slipped on the motor's taper, the intermittent would still work ...... but park in the wrong place. I never said the relays were fubar'd ....... just that your link didn't  answer the question

Just changed whole motor and linkage for known good one but no better ,intermittent not working still and doesnt park correctly.
Going to have to try relays i guess but i dont know where they are or which ones? its a 2.6 saloon
