Grill differences 1999-2003
« on: 03 October 2017, 15:07:14 »

I have always wondered what trim levels of omega that was delivered with the particular grill? I've searched several times on google but have not found opel's system on this. Looks like omega b facelift was delivered with least three different,  but what trim level belongs to the individual grill? Anyone have amswer for this?  :)

Here are the three different styles

Correct they do, but peeps normally put the i or Imercsher badge on them with is an optional extra, dont thinl they ever did an Opel Badge so guessing d=someone has done that as a Homebrew themselves.

There not cheap !, Ive got one as in the Pics kicking around with the Irmscher badge somewhere (starts thinking  :-\)

Don't think any aftermarket even approved makes like Irmscher/Steinmetz are allowed to fit blitzes or griffins because of copyright/intellectual property rights.

The Opel grill looks similar to the Irmscher chrome surround one but with the Blitz on it... The Cadillac grill is the same as the Opel one but with the Cadillac emblem in the centre ;)

Okay, so you're saying the first picture above is OE Opel grill? Was this an alternative sport-grill for all models maybe?

The grille changed between 2001 and 2002 models. The early ones has a horizontal chrome bar in the middle of the grille.
