I cant think of any tools I particularly need at the moment, which is a pity as I have a strong urge to buy some.  ;D
Can't beat new shiney things....

...which may help explain why I have 2 of the 200pc socket sets ;D

Had thoughts about buying a parts washer today. It will be new and shiny and will make old things look new and shiny.  :y :)

I've used parts washers, and I can't see any justification for buying one. Go to Poundland and buy a couple of stiff scrubbing brushes and a plastic washing up bowl. Get a gallon of paraffin on the way home, and you now have a parts washer for the change in your pocket.

I got Halfords Pro top and bottom box well over 10 years ago, and besides the red paint fading a slight pink, they're still going strong. On the other hand my Clarkes step-up box has felt cheap and flimsey pretty much since day one and the lock gave up the ghost a long time ago.

On saying that, my Clarkes ratchets which get plenty of hammer are still going strong.
