Oh no, he's bought a Renault Avantine

A previous neighbour of mine worked for Renault UK head office, in marketing. He kept bringing home strange cars - like the Avantine, Vel Satis, 24v clit. Needless to say none of them ever sold any real quantity in the UK & he could never explain why they bothered to import RHD versions. He is now very high up in Renault Europe & things seem to have the other way with the current Laguna and Espace not even making it to these shores. I guess they are focussing on high volume products that, for some reason, British people continue to buy.

It's a hefty thing with a kerb weight of 2429 kgs (according to Parkers as I CBA to go out in the cold and dark to check the plate!), yet it is very comfortable on the motorway! 

I can't believe you guys havn't worked this out yet!
