Yep, me too, when it was on special - I have 10 litres, hence my use of it!
You would advise that I dump it, then?

Ron.
You're lucky you only bought 10l of the shite. I was an idiot and bought a load  :-[

I'm guessing this can't go down the drain, so how do I get rid?

I use the yellow stuff (-20c maybe?) from Halfords normally, I think its now just over £3.  Normally in winter mixed 50:50, unless its looking to be proper cold like a few years back.

The Triple QX shite, despite being labelled as concentrated, I think is premixed.  No clues on label, just how to mix based on season, rather than what sort of temps each mix will give you...   ...and they seemed to be a strong ratio to me, hence just using neat.

Just mix it to 50%, still works well, in the arctic conditions we get here in Blighty.

I use Halfords Blackcurrant and mix it roughly 25% screenwash / 75% water, so I end up with about 20 ltrs of screen wash which lasts for ages.  Not had a problem yet!  :y

I must be lucky then, coz when I take the Mondeo in for a service, the garage tops up the screenwash, which lasts until the next service, no idea what they use, but it works ok  :)

Not lucky, just not making mountains out of molehills. There's nothing complicated about choosing using screenwash.

So, I take your advice, and buy a load of "whatever is available and cheap" concentrate, use it neat, and as soon as we get (just about) sub zero temps, it freezes.

And another member using the same has had his filter block again.

Clearly, screenwashes vary from quite good to utter shite.

I think in the cash of that shite I bought a load of its water with a small amount of dye in it to make it look like screenwash ;D

No cleaning agent, and clearly no antifreeze agent.  And if it allows that white slime to grow, no antibacterial agent in it either.
