I think it happened when I was in St. Ives earlier this week. I hate it when people do this. Anyway, is it straight forward to fit a new one?

XJ X351 ones are just a case of doorcard off, then mirror off. Straightforward enough.

I would suspect most Ford and post Ford era ones are going to be similar to replace.


I also know XJ ones are eye wateringly expensive, even the glass only is several hundred quid

Fully aware of that.  My translation module for the missus is working very well now it is finely tuned given the differences with Amurican and real English.

I am actually in the opposite situation.  "You spent how much on the credit card for jewellery?!   Oh I can spend x on a car then!"

It was a few years ago but I still have that card in the back pocket.  plus I am planning on making sure that once the cars and deposit on a house are done that there will be just enough for the rainy day fund which we cannot touch
