All that should be necessary is to somehow reduce the orbital speed and let these things burn up in the atmosphere on re-entry, assuming most would not reach the surface in dangerous sized pieces.
Could you get insurance, I wonder? :D

Its Arsehole Force, so will be £12 handling, plus whatever HRMC decide (which will be VAT and 2.5% import I suspect). tinkers.

I just paid the import duty on some bits from Shell Valley Roadsters in the US. £177.. not sure what I get for that £177; Mr P Hammond's undying love, maybe?
