you'll be saying you don't like the smell of petrol fumes next   :-\

I can't stand the smell of petrol or diesel, and always wear gloves when filling up with DERV as it always gets on your hands, then the steering wheel etc  ::)

Creosote however!  :y  but then that was banned....  :(

Let us all hope that Derv will soon be resigned to history when it comes to cars. :)

I'm not anti-derv though. It makes an excellent choice for cement mixers, canal boats, and lorries. :)

Baffles me how people manage to get it all over the handle of the nozzle.  :-\

Definitely salt and vinegar on fish'n'chips.Salt also sprinkled on the Sunday pork joint to crisp up the "crackling".

I used to routinely sprinkle salt on all savoury food. At some point I decided to give it a miss for a while. I found I could actually taste the flavours in the food rather than just taste salt, no matter what I was eating it with.
I don't bother with it at all now, apart from on chips. Must have salt on chips.

Same here MigV6, the salt only ever comes out when we have chip shop chips.

It doesn't even come out when we have home cooked chips.
I have salt on just about everything, and 2 1/2 spoons of sugar in my coffee, and loads of cakes and biscuits, and unhealthy cereal for my breakfast. Been nice knowing you all  :(
Much like our very own Pikey Pensioner, Auto Addict. He has about 3m spoons of sugar in tea, and enjoys the occasional drag on a fag (:P).  But he is about 200 years old, and healthier than your average OOF member ;D

Most of my family circle had died of cancer or heart disease before they reached the age I'm at now, so maybe I'm doing something right.  :-\
If I am, I have no idea what it is.  :D
