Windscreen washer sensor

Pulled out the sensor on the back of the washer tank, too drain all the old screen wash out. Refilled to max, now getting low washer fluid warning on dash?

Refitted correct way up? although almost impossible to get wrong...

Plug refitted fully?

Not much else to go wrong with it ;y

You need to replace the complete tank. cost is about £36 I believe.

That was my initial first thought. Shall I pull it out & try it the other way up? I’ll have too be quick though😀

I can only think that that the float has come off.
If it was upside down, then the sensor would never 'see' an empty bottle, is the float was missing, then it'll never close the magnetic switch.

Unplugged the sensor & rotated it 180 degrees. Still same issue. The tank is definitely 100% full. Any other ideas?
