Vauxhall Omega Sport
« on: 10 July 2009, 22:29:34 »

Anybody know much about these as i have just brought one on a 53 reg 2003 in Silver 2.2 for next to nothing

and on closer inspection it looks like a MV6 with

Recaro interior
Silver dash and door inserts
17" alloys

May break or sell on....not sure yet

Sorry Andy but for your car to be an MV6 it needs a V6 engine, not a 2.2 ;) ;) ;)  It could well be though that somebody has put some MV6 goodies into  your car. :D :D ;)

I've got a 2003 brochure, the Sport is listed as a normal model alongside the rest of the range.
Got the MV6 front bumper, rear spolier like MV6 and Elite, 17'' wheels. Only came with a 2.2. One thing that's interesting is the fact they all had headlight washers but no xenon's. As the rest of the range only had headlight washers in conjunction with xenon's not regualr bulb headlights.

Bit like the prefacelift Reflection model - designed to be a little bit like MV6, but smaller engined, and slightly lower spec

I have a couple of nice MV6's allready including a trackday one.....

i know though the 2.2 is not my cup of tea either

I got lucky to be honest with this one and the 03 Elite i have just brought as both owners thought the head gaskets had gone and it turned out to be the Oil cooler on both :y
