Do you ever...
« on: 12 July 2009, 18:59:57 »

Do you ever get those days when you just get so annoyed with cars that you just go mental.

Been trying to sort my speedo and battery problem today and I'm no closer to discovering the culprit. Not only that but in the process I find bits of plastic trim with cracks, missing bolts, broken brackets and an oily mess underneath. Struts look like their sitting proud of the towers and one of the gaiters is at half mast too. Also have two screwdriver bits in the car somewhere, one in with the steering column

Add to that the problems already existing (exhaust, rust bubbling, seat issues etc) and I really just lose it.

I sold my last car because it all got too much, was one thing after another. Its the fact I do not have the most suitable of premises for working on a car that also annoys.

I love my cars but maybe I'm flawed if I need to have a perfect car but I can't help it  ::)

Know exactly how you feel, bought an Omega a short time ago and all I've had is problems so far, have to keep justifying to my missus why I've got to keep spending money on it - not good when you haven't got much of it! Took the car out today when I thought I'd fixed it for good and it died spectacularly on me, felt like giving it a long push off a short pier >:(

Yep, everytime I go to do something, something (or usually more than one thing) goes wrong.

I have a list of things to do literally longer than my arm. It's not getting shorter either. Might put it up on here in a bit  :-[ :'(

I suppose I ought to persevere considering there aren't too many 3.0 Manual Elites around. Just find it difficult at the moment
