Some advice
« on: 25 July 2009, 13:55:29 »

Right well, I'm having so many issues with the Elite its really annoying me now to put it politely.

I'm beginning to wonder if it is really worth the effort.

So, this is NOT a buy my car/I want to buy a car thread, I am just after some advice on an idea I had, and if its realistic. If it is then I shall put a post in the appropriate section

I'm wondering if it would be worth offering my two Migs in a swap for a facelift 3.0 or 3.2. I know the Manual's are hard to find so another question. How much extra on insurance would converting an auto to a manual be?

There is a chap on here who can get hold of ex-plod 3.0/3.2 manuals. Only thing is with the 3.2 manual it wasn't and official UK model so many insurers may not recognise it or charge a lot more. Best off posting in the for sale section if you want to look at swap options.

Yep, posted in there now. Fear there may not be much interest though :(

Will keep an eye.
