Oh, and I noticed one of my less than a year old B4 rear shocks is oil misting. >:(
You're the second person I've heard say that in the last couple of weeks.  Has Bilstiens' quality gone down the shitter, or are there a lot of substandard copies about?

Remember where you sourced them from?

Failed to update the satnav map. Apparently the USB stick is faulty.

Mine works very well, thank you, apart from its 7yr old map missing a bit too much (and the shitty early X351 touchscreens being a bit unresponsive).

What would work better?

What would work better?

If it knew where it was going.

If it was aware of junctions that have been in place for forty years.

If it told me to turn left or right rather than have me guess.

If it used proper road names like A14 or B4535 rather then calling it  Derek Johnson Way or similar crap I've never heard of.

If it didn't turn mute when I need information most.

The system in the mighty Signum is far superior.........and that only gets 6/10.

Not suffered these problems, bar taking me through town instead of the 5yr old bypass every time I go to mums.  Although, invariably, I have the voice turned off, and rely on the pop-ups on the dash next to the speedo.

Is yours the In Touch one?  Mine is the older hdd gen 2.1 variant.

My biggest complaint is, unlike Omega/Signum/Vectra/Zafira, you can't enter a destination via the steering wheel, though the Jaguar Voice is incredibly accurate for me, even at very high speed.

My 2013 XFR was equally piss poor which is unsurprising as the system is the same.

As for TMC information......forget it. It either doesn't let me know or sends me in a circle back to where the hold up is.

Was that the In Touch as well, or the older gen 2.1?

No issues with TMC either, which is the usual reason for me enabling satnav - it tells me where hold up is, estimated extra time, predicted clear time, and details of suggested reroute.

Its certainly, unsurprisingly, far better than the NCDC system fitted to Omegas, which in turn I would still pick over *any* handheld unit.

Balance, I think. Certainly had no reason to suspect they weren't genuine at the time.

Not good news, as we always thought them to be good quality.
