Oh, and I noticed one of my less than a year old B4 rear shocks is oil misting. >:(
You're the second person I've heard say that in the last couple of weeks.  Has Bilstiens' quality gone down the shitter, or are there a lot of substandard copies about?

Remember where you sourced them from?

Balance, I think. Certainly had no reason to suspect they weren't genuine at the time.
That's where mine came from, and have lasted really well - far better than the GM ones which I was always changing on the back.

Given that, it might be cheapies on the back now, and just change annually.  Its the fronts I don't know what to do with, due to geo  :-\

Keep that up for a while and they'll pass the MOT just fine...

...because there'll be no oil left in them to come out ;D

Plenty of 'elderly students' these days who never seem to actually progress to full time employment.

This is why the age of first time house buyers is currently 67.......rising to 81 in London.

Felt a slight grumble through the front wheels over the last day or so, only to discover that the inner edges of the front tyres have worn... Combination of worn rear bushes, too much camber on one side and lots of puddles.  :-\

Was planning a full suspension rebuild as it's all at that mileage, so have been collecting parts... Not all arrived yet post Christmas, so tyres might need to be fitted before the rest :-\

Realised my battery was days from death as it would barely start today, coldest morning of the season so far...
Halfords - £100+
ECP - £100+
Vauxhall £35!  Thank you very much!

TC or was on offer?

I need a battery now, am I correct in thinking 3.2 needs 75Ah? Finding:

Vauxhall: £146.40 (retail) £124.44 (trade)
ECP: £82 (before discount) but that's only 70Ah.

Recall CostCo around £80, but for decent Bosch one, not ECP cheapie.

Could have sworn Halfords sold Bosch? But their website does not list them. Rang Halfords Twickenham, but no response.
