Yeah but in these filthy roads, noticed good improvement in light output after a wash. Last time it was filled was when I replaced the pump, so all good really.
If I remember correctly, you use that god awful useless Triple QX shite screenwash?  If so, I'm surprised you notice a difference...  ...on the rare occasions its not frozen ;D

Had no issues with QX stuff, does the job  :y

Use it 50/50 mix, cleans screen up really wel.

That's because you're not taken in by the marketing wank of expensive screenwash. Like any glass cleaner, the difference is the small amount of dye and perfume added to mask the smell of the ammonia that actually does the work. We could all mix our own, as ammonia and distilled water are cheap. But life's too short to piss about like that.

I paid just £2 for 5L bottle delivered, (ordered 5 x 5L) so 50/50 mix which I think it describes as winter conditions, means for around £1 the bottle is filled.   :)

Know it needs a good mix to stop light washers crusting up, all good so far.

I use it neat, and not only is it poor at cleaning, during that cold snap before xmas, it kept freezing.  Thats in both the Jag and the Omega, and both have newish wiper blades (less than 3 months old).

I'll be going back to Hellfrauds stuff, far cheaper, as a 50:50 mix doesn't freeze at same temps (as thats whats in battlebus)

You do talk some rubbish sometimes....   ...just look at the labels for how much you have to dilute them to see the differences.

I've learnt the hard way that the Triple QX stuff is a waste of time, and due to the fact it freezes too easily, I'd suggest that for a UK winter, its actually dangerous.  The fact its no more effective that water is a moot point.

So I'll go back to what I know works, despite it being just over £1 more expensive pre bottle.

Don't understand how yours freezes, I've left in the morning with dash reading -5c and it's washed fine, that's mixed as well.  :-\

-4 here this morning, first go with the washers was a bit of an effort, got about a quarter way up the screen, but it soon forced it’s way through.

Some reason thought yours was I4 petrol  :-[

Might need to wait a couple of years for XE's to drop off in value, but I do like the look of the R-Sport version.  8)
