Reset the camber as a temporary measure pending new tyres and suspension parts... looks to have also rectified the front toe too ;)

Also fitted front fogs to it, just needs a switch to complete 8)

Just applied the code, £53 today for Lion branded one at 70Ah. Hummmm
Is Hummmm good or bad?

Good price, just wondering if I should go Bosch and pay a bit more (~£80) or just go cheapy.

If you don't use the car frequently, then it needs as good a battery as you can afford. If it's in daily use, then a cheapy is much less of a risk.

3 days a week on average, getting a good 60 mile drive each day.

I have one of these in my BMW 530d.  78ah, 680 CCA, Next day delivery, £53.95 with a 4 year warranty.  The BMW gets used infrequently these days and often sits for a week and this battery has been fine.  :y  Last winter I went away for two months, didn't bother to disconnect or use a trickle charger and when I got back it span the old girl over like it had been in regular use.  :)  Recommended!  :y

I've fitted quite a few for folk on a budget and have had no issues with the Lion Batteries :y

My 3.2 originally had a 65 Ah battery. I ended up with a 70Ah Yuasa one from CAF for sub-£100.
Aren't they part of euroshite now (via Andrew Page)?
Yes, probably already were when I bought my battery, TBH.

Blokes there are still the same, and couldn't be more helpful, so I still go there as it's close to the orifice.

Worked out my MPG, following filling it earlier.  That useless student will be mega impressed with what the ol' black pussy can manage.  It might even make him want one as his next car.

Do tell.

Many moons ago I owned a Triumph 2500. A lovely old straight six with twin carbs.

Economy was not good and the only way I could make the car run smoothly was by setting it up 'very rich' with a colourtune.

This resulted in 13 MPG around town and 17-18 MPG on a long gentle run using the long-legged overdrive as much as possible.

I've amazed myself with it.  I knew it was going to be good, as previous fill was 12th Dec.
