Yeah but in these filthy roads, noticed good improvement in light output after a wash. Last time it was filled was when I replaced the pump, so all good really.
If I remember correctly, you use that god awful useless Triple QX shite screenwash?  If so, I'm surprised you notice a difference...  ...on the rare occasions its not frozen ;D

Had no issues with QX stuff, does the job  :y

Use it 50/50 mix, cleans screen up really wel.
I use it neat, and not only is it poor at cleaning, during that cold snap before xmas, it kept freezing.  Thats in both the Jag and the Omega, and both have newish wiper blades (less than 3 months old).

I'll be going back to Hellfrauds stuff, far cheaper, as a 50:50 mix doesn't freeze at same temps (as thats whats in battlebus)

Don't understand how yours freezes, I've left in the morning with dash reading -5c and it's washed fine, that's mixed as well.  :-\
It was -9 before crimbo.

Drove it to the dangerous side of the River Orwell.

Replaced blower motor, old one ceased. Also replaced heater matrix while everything was almost out of the way.

Encountered some problems after finished the job, unpleasant noise coming from blower motor fan.
Undo the new motor and found out that fan propeller was touching to wall in front of fresh air filter:

Fan propeller touch that inner circle part

Marks where two material contacted

Solved the problem by removing material from that wall part about 1 mm by rubbing with sandpaper.
Needed couple of tries before it was perfect.

If I need to replace blower motor later on, I'll definitely test clearance by pressing hard on each screw base holding the motor to it's chassis, shown in pic below, with my thumb while motor in place and running.
It will tell immediately if propeller is too close to the wall..

Amazing how we all worry about the quality of screenwash and the like nowadays. I put washing up liquid in my triumph herald for years. Apart from freezing up in winter, as most do anyway, it was fine for years.

Just looked out the hotel window to check mine is still there.  It looks a disgrace against all the shiney clean other cars surrounding it  :-[

Got another year's MOT on it.

One advisory. Clearing the EML didn't last the duration of the test this year, as one of my post-cat lambda sensors now has a heater issue.  ::)

Like me, the tester clearly hasn't yet dared to look under the sill covers. ;)

Looking and checking is expensive, rather regret testing my sills as now need to get it fixed before my MOT.  :(

And advisory it can only be....Ive been told by my MOT man, the engine can sound like a bag of spanners, you can have emissions/EML light on, if it passes the emissions test they cannot fail it  :y

Well, they needed doing anyway, so nothing lost.

I just wasn't relishing the prospect of dealing with mine now, when it's ruddy cold, especially if the Westfield has to come out of hibernation. :o Will have a look when the weather improves a bit.

Put a new headlight bulb in the Mondeo.  You have to take the headlight unit out to do it.  ::)
