Put a new headlight bulb in the Mondeo.  You have to take the headlight unit out to do it.  ::)

5 Minute job once you've figure out what's what though!

Yes it's OK, just a bit of a PITA having to get tools out to change a bulb!  ::)

At least I didn't have to take a wheel or the bumper off!  :o  ;D

especially if the Westfield has to come out of hibernation.
That rarely ends well ;D

I'm considering re-MOT'ing the Jag and the Battlebus in the summer, as I'm getting a bit long in the tooth to be rolling around on frozen ground...

...that said, there is a centrally heated, friendly, double garage not far from me, but by the time I'm plied with a brew and cooked breakkie with smiley faces, CBA quickly sets in ;D

Which results in lunchtime pub trip, and even a curry evening...

...rarely productive, but hugely enjoyable ;D

Got another year's MOT on it.

One advisory. Clearing the EML didn't last the duration of the test this year, as one of my post-cat lambda sensors now has a heater issue.  ::)

Like me, the tester clearly hasn't yet dared to look under the sill covers. ;)

Looking and checking is expensive, rather regret testing my sills as now need to get it fixed before my MOT.  :(

Well, they needed doing anyway, so nothing lost.

I just wasn't relishing the prospect of dealing with mine now, when it's ruddy cold, especially if the Westfield has to come out of hibernation. :o Will have a look when the weather improves a bit.

Mine shouldn't have passed last year's MOT, which was at the end of February. So they're definitely due now. I've had them since before Christmas, and they've been seasoning nicely out on the back court ever since. I'll have to find a clear space in the street outside, and get on with them ;D

Took the dash out of my Manta A, to sort out a wiring issue.

Removed the ignition lock and switch on the the 3.2 as occasionally it fails to start with no dimming of lights. All battery connections and earth strap connections appear OK, and are not getting warm when running, hence replacing the electrical switch (£8 inc postage) to eliminate as a problem. The indications are identical to those I had on the TD a year or so ago, so I am hoping this is the same (switch) problem. While in there I have dismantled and cleaned the mechanical switch section which was mucky inside, although all sliders are in good shape. :y

New wishbones polybushed and front struts built up ready for fitting next weekend.

Xenons polished up and new bulb set fitted. Might get them fitted tomorrow if it stays dryish... need to paint the washer jets though :-\
