No heater fan

I've got the :- accelerate/go uphill, heater fan cuts out syndrome, have read about this before somewhere!!!! I assume this is vacuum related. Can sombody tell me where i should be looking.

Assuming you mean that the fan keeps running but the airflow changes direction to the footwells.

There is a vacuum reservoir by the pollen filter, the vacuum 'input' comes from T on the servo pipe and enters the reservoir through a built-in nonreturn valve.
The output leaves the reservoir and heads to the rubber grommit where the heater hoses pass through the bulkhead.

If you havnt disturbed anything behind the engine recently then the most likely cause is that the 'output' pipe has worn through somewhere, usually where it passes through from the engine compartment to the pollen filter space.
