Slight mistake in above info - the plastic clips need to be turned through 90 degrees (so slot is parallel to bas of windscreen), then lift then out. Once all 8 are out (and that torx screw removed, and rubber strip that runs along from of scuttle is removed (sometimes bonnet cable attached to this), the scuttle should wiggle out...
:-[ Who said 'Assumption is the mother of all f***-ups'?  ;) I assumed it was 45 cos it's a while since I looked.  :-[

Maybe, when you last fitted yours, you only turned through 45 degrees, hence only need 45 degrees to release ;)   ;D

Wait, I tried turning one in every orientation and pulling it out with needle-nose and I couldn't get it out?

As said, turn it so slot is in 9 oclock/3oclock position, then wiggle/lift stud out...

OK, I'll try harder in that orientation.  All the way out?

You forgot; wrong oil filter, 1 set of cam cover gaskets when they swore they gave me 2, de-polarised flux capacitor, and their front doors open the wrong way!

Since we are going on about Americanisms, one thing that is hard to adjust to is that doors open the wrong way here.  In the US doors of businesses and public buildings have to open outwards due to fire code.  Almost every door here opens inward!?
