Wire up towbar electrics direct to loom at rear,
Change 3pin flasher to a 4 pin
Then other relay fits under glove box
Insert bulb for trailer light,

Is that correct as to how ive read everything

* depends on age of car. I forget which way round, but it can live above the driver's feet too

Well hope i got the right Relay   There was 4 different types with 4 pins but if its wrong i can take it back to Alfods , nice blonde woman didnt have much idea which one i should take either

Flasher relay ........  price wise I think you've just got a standard relay ie a switch

The Omega has front and rear indicators (each 21 Watts) a side repeater (10 Watts? or maybe also 21 Watts ) and an indicator in the dash (1.2 Watts? or 4 Watts?)

Your relay may say something like '21W+21W+10W+1.2W' in which case it should just work.

The first one I tried was too sensitive & saw the side repeater as a trailer. They found me another which was less sensitive and that behaves as it should.

You've bought a relay  not a flasher 'relay'
