At a guess/suggestion, and not trying to pre-empt any behind the scenes planning ... those of us who can .. BACS transfer to OOF, those who can't ... cheque to OOF Once funds are in OOF pays Pedders

Only downside to that is we are asking Jamie to do a load more work on our behalf, and he does a great deal already........

..... and before any raises the idea that it leaves them open to risk, Jamie has been running the shop without any problems for some years and is one of the most honest guys I have ever met.

Just awaiting details back from chrisgixer, who himself is waiting on Pedders.  Its just the final points that need clarifying.

In a nutshell, the money will get paid into a central club bank account. We don't want to go via the Paypal route as somebody will have to pick up the charges. Likewise with card payments, somebody have to pay the fees.

This account, being a club account, doesn't belong to an individual, it belongs to OOF. So if I throw my toys out of the pram get knocked down by a bus tomorrow, the other 3 owners can carry on as normal.

Once all money is collected, the order can be submitted to Pedders, with delivery following about 8-12 weeks later (is that right chrisgixer?)


I hope that clarifies, and settles any doubts about "who" is holding the money until the order is submitted.  Any queries, just say

Tidied up the list.
Shakeng has confirmed two sets, both his and mine can be picked up if possible.
We have one over seas delivery
We have one location to be confirmed, all others uk
We have 26 members confirming 27 sets so far.

# 5 members.....Can all those members confirm numbers now we have a price ?

Can we be prepared to decide on...
Two options on delivery;
Either pay Pedders £5 if in uk. Non uk price tbc
Or if available local pick up/via oof network etc

Good point.. I have absolutely no problem paying for postage if they want to send them all out individually (or even if they want to ship to one person and post on from there).

I'm just angling to have you help fit them, really..
