omega 2.5TD saloon 2000
« on: 31 January 2010, 12:10:20 »

MANUALbmw engine 2.5 straight 6 Diesel, part history, have just had a full service incl glow plugs etc.
GLS spec, with GLS wheels and tyres.
Car originated in blue from new, a company had it painted white, it was not police or taxi, any interest give me a shout.
has 150 on the clock, when servicing found had already been done recently but carried on having spent £80 on the parts (TRADE!).

Drives fine, im using it daily. realy powerful when needed, but so economical!
£1395  Taxed until august!!

Mileage is average for 10 years old. 15k a year isnt high. 30k is!

We have been here before....

What someone asks for their car and what they get for it is their business and that of the purchaser.  Whether a potential purchaser cares to actually view the car and reassess what their budget is or not, is again, their prerogative.

To all, by all means make observations and comparisons but ultimately, its a for sale thread not somewhere to simply diss the seller such that they decide to remove themselves from the forum......

If he's a proper trader he may want to grow more of a spine than that!

Shame actually, this is slightly above what I paid for my current derv run about, but it's incomparably better and more respectable.  :P

As posted elsewhere....

Lets have a wee grip of reality around here before things go pear shaped once again....

If you are interested in buying a car advertised on OOF then, by all means, post up relevant questions and queries which undoubtedly a seller worth their salt will readily reply to.

If you wish to comment on a car - make it a discussion piece and/or you have no interest in purchasing simply because you think the price is ourageous/colour scheme is heavily amusing/body mods are perhaps worth sharing with others/simply feel the need to say yours was cheaper than the one for sale - then consider the following....

If you saw the car on Pistonheads, Autotrader, E-bay, Barryboys, your local rag, car showroom or whatever and you wanted to pass an opinion to share on OOF, what would you do?  You would put a post into the General Discussion area or Gen Car Chat.....

Same line of thought applies with cars advertised for sale on OOF.  If you want to rip it, do it in the appropriate area - not the sellers thread!!  Its manners!  Go start a thread in general discussion area or gen car chat and see what develops thereafter.....

Hopefully that clarifies things a tad....
