Yup

Door card off then 10mm drill bit to dead head the relevant plastic rivets, then refit using 6mm self tappers with washers

Guessing it would look better if you put the self tappers on the inside of the door card when refitting though.

That was the way that I fitted them, but I guess you could screw them on the other way round

people seem to do plenty worse shit to their cars

Albatross did a fine job a few years ago on a carbon fibre effect on F/L, it's only Interior mod I've strongly considered
