Impulse eBay purchase
« on: 24 November 2013, 09:49:39 »

I saw this at £15 with 5 mins left by total chance.

Sniped a bid in the last 15 seconds and won the auction at £22

Claims its a sealey model but its not a vse130 which afaik is the only one sealey do, so I'm dubious, although at this price I can afford a gamble

Thoughts?

IIRC the VSE130 model included the cranked spanner :-\

Update

Had a go with this one some weeks ago. Just to check it was ok and check it against my trusty SP kit.

Guess what? ::)

Crank lock totally misses the water pump.

Airse.

It's a branded sealey product. Thought it was only laser rubbish that did that!!

I think the laser and sealey are identical in all but name. Guess it was faulty stock that should have been disposed of. :(

Any possibility to heat up the crank lock and bend it into place? IIRC it was just cast on the wonk so it was proud of the water pump?

Is that the technical term?  ;D

I need to buy some more tools, I'm not sure what for, but it's been too long since I bought any.
