I`m sure we`ve all seen different styles of these things.
I got something very similar to this one & carry it under the bike seat.

Lot of dodgy junk about, but this bloke also claims to have tested the safety features under short circuit conditions.
Although the jumper cables look a bit on the skinny side to me $:-\$

Omega General Help / wear in the off-side front suspension

With the car sitting on the level I can slightly rock the off-side front wheel fore & aft

Worn wishnones maybe, on the off-side

Omega General Help / some observations, so new battery

in place & everthing tightened up.
Key in the ignition & she quickly turns over , but the car/spanner light is blinking on & off & she`s not firing.

I re-check everything & the same result 2nd try, 3rd try etc.

Igntion off & battery negative off & replaced. key back in & she instantly fires up.

No warning lights now, so what was that guys, any ideas

I owned one these sets for about 10 mins today.
Lunch hour with not much to do, so pop into Halfords for a nose.

Spotted one these pass-thru sets, never know it might come in handy one day.

Opened the set in the car & started playin with it. The quarter inch sockets push & lock onto the ratchet handle nicely, but the larger handle is knackered & refuses to accept any socket

Back into the shop & demonstrate to the lass at the rear counter how crap this thing is & that was their only set. So can`t be arsed with it & got a refund.

The half inch pass-thru set is £70.
