Migrants escaping from African and Middle Eastern countries to escape religious persecution. Fair enough. So what happens on the boat? An argument about religion breaks out and a dozen Christians are thrown overboard.
Sad......pathetic....or just plain funny?

Oh dear...wasn't trying to start another religious thread. It would have been the same if they were all trying to escape homophobic persecution and the gays threw the cross dressers overboard.

Did I just make that better...or worse?  ;D

Certainly not funny.

We have been talking about the same subject. The Muslim perpetrators should but won't be prosecuted.

The "West" interferes in the stability of a region. Creates a load of refugees or people who have to escape because of now open unopposed intolerance.

Where do they go? Well they pool their meagre savings to get one or more of their family to Europe- lands of opportunity and relative safety.

My question is at what volume of migrants into the EU (if at all) does the EU actively do something? Athousand a day? A hundred thousand a day? Is ten a day alright?  Should the EU have military boats turning back ships from North Africa rather than wait till they (possibly) arrive inEU waters?

Religious stability ;D

Have a watch of the first Zeitgeist film... (the second two are also worth watching fwiw)

Every Northern Hemisphere religion since 3000 bc has it's roots firmly ensconsed in the zodiac and sun worship.

I'm not a particularly religious person, but mean no offence to those of faith, but the explanation of the repeated use of religion as a political tool is about the only thing that makes any sense of the whole subject.

Basically it is a demonstration that all religion stems from the position of the sun in the sky according to the seasons, with the zodiac basically being a reminder of what happens when in the natural yearly cycle ie Aquarius being when the spring melt/rains happen, and Aries being lambing period...

Those migrants that make it to Europe, have kicked,punched,stolen and killed to get there.So the fluffy ar poor people you think they are think again, life to them,and the people they pay is cheap. You only see what the press and government want you to see.
 Then there those who are forced to leave families,as part of a debt.
