Riff Raff?  Yes I do think that people who want to settle here should be screened for criminal records, health conditions, should have the means to support themselves and prove that they have certain skills and qualifications.    In fact most countries around the world do this sort of thing, but for example I don't think I've ever heard Canadians being accused of intolerance.

Well you say that... But I have it on good authority, from an Aussie as I recall, that you can't say SLady bitsthorpe in Canada. In fact the poor bloke was so taken aback that he actually wrote a song about it
