I'm not so sure there is a clique as such on OOF, there is a certain intolerance sometimes which I think is a bit much but that Merc place was a forum that had a handful of members and the rest were just there to make it look popular

If anything the merc forum is much more snobby than oof, imo.......

I joined the mb forum some 6 years ago when i had a ml270 cdi i was having problems with it smoking the members where very helpful one meber kevbo iirc even came to my house on his way home from work to leand a helping hand

That is a lovely merc and some nice options on there too - Merc forum I use is MBClub.co.uk and I have found it pretty good for a quick browse but have to say very little has gone wrong with it and haven't posted that much - there can be some "eliteness" (no pun intended) on there with the boys that have a brand new merc and like to pose questions such as "what super expensive wax to use" etc, but on the whole it's ok.

Hope the merc serves you well - very nice
