Was stationary on the M25 in April near junction 8 (where I was going to exit), and hit in the back by a 10ton Co Op lorry that was still doing 30MPH!!  Car was written off as it would have cost 13K to repair, but only suffered whiplash to my shoulder & neck, lorry driver has to take a competance driving compulsory course, if he doesn't take it or fails, the police will charge him with "Driving with undue care & attention"

This car was my pride & joy, immaculate, had never failed an MOT, and I had tried to look after it.  I bought it from a guy in Chatham who'd had it since new and couldn't believe what a bargain I had got!!

My new one is almost as good, gradually working my way through the little niggly bits that need to get it as perfect as it can be!

I have driven lorries in the past (7.5 & took my artic course!), and am aware of the additional concentration required due to the extra responsibility, and also have a lot of respect for truckers!  I have just found that the driver was offered a "Driver Improvement Course", which he had to pay for & pass, he's refused the course & the Police are taking him to court now!
