Running a cable to the rear aux socket
« on: 24 November 2014, 10:31:26 »

....from the pas side foot well.

Is there room to run a cable past the gear change and hand brake, under the surround whatever it's called, under (?) the vents to the socket?

Does the surround need to come out? Or can I feed it thought with a coat hanger wire or similar?

I tucked mine all the way under the plastic console lower edge where it meets the carpet and then up through the 12V accessory socket hole. Only bit I removed was the centre console armrest bit (screw each side) to gain access to the back of the aux socket plug. Took a couple of minutes.  :y
