Throttle body screws
« on: 27 November 2014, 11:14:44 »

As I have stripped my TB and destroyed two of the screws, it appears that they're not available separately from Vx - would anyone have an old unwanted throttle body that they'd be able to pop the screws out of for me, or recommend some replacements? Intended to go into the machine shop up the road in my dinner break, but after bagging them up and leaving them on the mantlepiece ready for this morning, waking up to a smashed off door mirror and dented rear wing on the Turbo Weasel rather made me forget to bring them today. Also after a throttle body adjuster screw or suitable alternative.

Will of course post in Wanted Section properly, if no alternatives arise. Thanks all.  :)

Nothing to clever about them, there only a standard metric thread.  :y

The screws holding the throttle disc to the spindle would benefit from a dab of threadlock!

Well they certainly didn't benefit when I had to take a drill to them, to get the buggers out!!  :D
