Government ministers need to tread carefully when 'giving the impression' that the judges are bent.

He only voiced my thoughts to be honest.  ;)

He probably voiced the thoughts of many, but as a minister he should be more responsible. He knew his comments would inflame some people.

It's strange......shouty Farage and his ilk were always banging on that laws should be made in Westminster not Brussels. That we should take back control with our own 'elected representatives' in parliament. This is broadly what is now happening.

We are not yet a banana republic with a dictator but as Boris is dismissive of parliament we could be heading that way. :-\

Boris Johnson needs to be accountable.

Your wrong. People voted to take control from the EU and give it back to the UK Parliament. Parliament is conspiring in every way possible to stop control being given back to it. It doesn't want it, it wants it to stay overseas. Boris is trying to find a way around or through that to enact what people voted for.
Much of this Parliament (including the speaker) is completely anti democratic.
It not Boris,s lack of accountability to Parliament we should be worried about. Its Parliaments complete lack of accountability to the people that is the big problem.
We voted to leave. Not leave if certain conditions or agreements were put in place. Just leave.

This is what is now happening......it's just that parliament is not voting as some would like. I suppose China could get it's politicians to vote exactly as they are told. ::)

That isn't whats happening. Every vote in Parliament has been to try and prevent control from being given back to it. If they are just really worried about a no deal Brexit, as they claim, they could have voted for May / Robbins extremely soft Brino deal on the three occasions they had the chance, but they didn't. This exposes them for what they really are.
Traitors, imo.

If you think parliament do not represent the will of the people then what you are really asking for is a dictator who can do as he likes. That is really the only alternative if parliament refuse to be submissive.

Not for me, I'm afraid.  :)

Parliament is actually 650 individuals. Trying to get them to all vote the same way is like herding cats. They vote how they vote. They are as split as the country is 52/48. :-\

The majority of them are voting against what they pledged to do when they said they would honour the referendum result, and when they voted to trigger article 50. Also voting against the results in their own constituencies in most cases.

Yes......I'm sure they are not all 'goodness and light' but what is your answer if an elected group of representatives refuse to vote how some people want them to vote?

Simples...

Vote them out of a job.

Their replacements had better be under no illusion as to who they work for.

On the back of a No Deal brexit, a fresh parliament should be a damn sight more use than the self serving shower of shit we currently have. Moving the country forward won't leave much time for party politics either.

Its not just voting against what some people(the majority) want them to vote for. Its voting against what they said they would do. I now politicians lie, but this shower have taken it to a whole different level.

Yes....but other than implementing TB's cull, or sending MP's to a secret location for 'thought adjustment' on the order of dictator Bojo, there is very little can be done. :)

These are after all elected representatives just as Mr Farage wanted to 'take back control' ::)

We are not yet a banana republic with a dictator but as Boris is dismissive of parliament we could be heading that way. :-\

Boris Johnson needs to be accountable.

You seem to be forgetting that Boris has offered a General Election twice now, but the opposition don't want one.  ::)

I suspect they won't want one in November, December, January or even February either, when they will have prevented us leaving the EU again.  :-X

I think Boris needs 66% of parliament to vote for an election.

Again, these are elected representatives who refuse to vote........so what can be done?
