Am going to change my plugs and ht leads  Are NGK any good ? Which would be best ? and ht leads genuine vauxhall or not ? :-/

Autovaux do some reasonable leads. They are a tad too long but work very well.

Genuine plugs all the way, cheapest and best.

genuine leads are massively over priced. Doesnt have to be autovaux any motor factors will sort you out. Ime most leads will have different lengths. Just dont buy the cheapest. :-)

ran multitip ngk plugs in my 2.5cdx for years with no problems

I understand it is an emotive subject, but personally I would never fit ngk plugs in any car I own. On the other hand I would allways fit ngk plugs in my motorbike.

I used to work for a breakdown organisation, and it allways seemed to be cars with ngk plugs would not start on a cold morning.

you do need to be careful what you're getting.  My first camcover seals came from them and were 'from the original suppliers to Vx' - just not the suppliers of camcover seals it turned out.  In fairness they did replace with originals when I moaned.
I've had original parts - waterpump, and decent aftermarket - SKF belpt kit - too - you just need to be careful.

Also worth noting they offer 5-10% off if you mention the forum (or any other car club etc)

as ive said i have had no problems with ngk in any vehicle as long as the correct one were supplied. i worked in an independent motor factors for 19 years and most of the plug that gave problems were bosch so i wouldnt use bosch at all even champion plugs gave problems specially the belgian made ones

ngk gets my vote..lasts long without any problems.. and these are standard models with 4 electrodes..

From my recent experiences with GM Plugs and LPG I'd say save yourself some money and fit genuine plugs bought on TC

As for leads, go for a reputable brand
