ٌRadiator Cooling Fans
« on: 03 March 2014, 20:29:56 »

Hello
I want to ask about the Radiator Cooling Fans of my Omega (2003 2.2):
When the Temperature reaches the Fan operating Temp. (above 90 C) which Fan should start? the big interior multi-speed fan which is mounted on Cooling Water Radiator in front of motor? or the small exterior Fan which is mounted on the A/C Radiator behind the Pumper?
In my case the small Fan starts then stop after decreasing the Temp. which is strange because as far as I know in most cars the main Fan should start & the small (A/C) Fan start if the Temp. keep increasing.
Please advice if this action in my car is normal noting that if I turn the A/C on both fans start.
Thank you in advance for your help.

This is the ability of Newbie's  8) ... stick around and I'll show you more magic (check the subject to see some)
And I wont till any one the secret until you answer my question.
After second thought maybe that is the problem in my ٌRadiator .. I'll just remove the spell of the R & every thing will work normally  :)

IIRC, 2.2 has 2 fans. Both used for cooling, and the front one also used for AC. Can a 2.2 owner check?

OK dbug you got me twice
In fact I'll let my specialist friend in Amman chick when i have the chance .. but the problem that he is in Amman & I'm in Aqaba (360 km far) .. a technician in Aqaba check it & said nothing up normal & I called my friend in Amman & said both Fans should work let me check it when you come here .. the problem is Summer is close & here in Aqaba the Ambient Temperature reaches 50 C or more  :D.
any way your are well-come in Jordan anytime

I cant recall the fan operation on the 2.2 but there will be multiple settings e.g. front fan only....bit warmer, both fans.
