Seems like a good idea. My mini facelift 3.0 Elite has its engine , gearbox and exhaust on the bench at the moment as it's having it heads&headers rebuilt (volumetrically massaged :y) and a complete new clutch, my mini face lift 2.5 CDX is up for rocker cover oil seal overhaul, so it will be the preface lift 2.5 Reflection (aka the silver bullet) up for a meet. Have been to a few meets over a cafe near West Malling, but not sure if this is still a venue for Mig meets? :) Gazza

Brighton...sounds good :y...... The Alarming Man (Mark) used to arrange the Kent meet but at the moment he's not planned anything as far as I know, but you could certainly set one up yourself......simples :y

How about a meet at the deans diner meet at Chatham Dockyard on Thursday Oct 02nd from 7ish :-\

I expect to be there after I finish work at eight. It's likely to be very busy.
-
I'm always up for a meet even if there's a bit of a drive attached to it (always get to the Alarming man's Kent meet)....but this time we're away in sunny?? Suffolk all next week so wouldn't be able to attend :'(...sorry.

I will in the next couple of days post a date for a Saturday meet...but I have been told the old venue is closed so going to make a trip down tomorrow
-
What about Mickeys diner on bluebell hill?
That's always a good place for a meet/food.

Always attend the K
-
Ermm! as I was saying ::) always attend the Kent meet,so a new venue wouldn't be a problem....what's the parking like?
-
Parking there is fine and pretty decent food at fair price.Only slight issue is it is only accesable from the "up hill" section of A229 Blue Bell Hill being dual carriage way but easy access from all roads and both M2 and M20.
Quite a retro place aimed at the original American Dinner theme, also directly next to a Shell Petrol Station .
Just watch out for the police speed camera van on the bridge at the bottom of the hill if going towards or coming out of Maidstone as 50mph limit
-
Depending on day, location and time, I am definitely interested in attending a Kent meet :)

That's what I was thinking, easy access and good food at a reasonable price, parking is pretty good to. I go there sometimes with the bike club and have never had cause to complain.

There's definitely the interest,so why not look at some dates and see what happens :-\ I always tried to make the original Kent meet arranged by Mark (The Alarming Man) and I would think he would also turn up as I know he may well have another Omega in the near future. :y
