The suspension on mine is past it too as I can bounce the front with very little effort and the rear shocks are leaking/knackered as well.  and my driveway is uneven and the towbar catches on the pavement when I reverse in and the front bumper catches also. and when I drive in facing in towards the house the exhaust scrapes badly on the floor.

I still haven't removed the wheelarch covers on mine yet so I've yet to be shocked by the state of the metal underneath, if theres anything left..

The rust is usually peeking out from under the underseal tempting you to have a poke about thinking it wont be much. but we all know better don't we and it's all rather depressing when you see it in all it's ugliness...

My car obviously shines more when it's washed. but unfortunately when you get close to it you cant help but notice the various dents inflicted by bricks thrown by drugged up moronic chavs..

Hello all.  Earlier I thought I would give the cheap code reader a blast only to find one of the codes it came up with is not on the list. the number is P0705 ? and of course the usual 0420/0430 ones that usually pop up all the time. is it an actual number or should the code reader be ignored.

The Halfords stuff is what I put into my car when I changed the water pump recently and it hasn't leaked all over the floor yet either.

Mines the same. but because the leak was no where near as bad as the water pump I've yet to change it for a new one.

My first 2.6 suffered with oil starvation problems a few months into ownership which probably meant that I should have removed the sump to at least check the pick up. but I only got as far as to change the oil etc twice but it obviously never helped at all and the engine finally died less than six months after I bought it.

I also had an annoying rattle from underneath as well. and no one will be surprised to hear that the outer shell of the cat was parting company from the exhaust and when I poked it with a screwdriver it dropped onto the floor rather comically..

The 2.2 manual GLS estate I had felt so quick compared to my current 3.2 auto. but the way they all seem to rust in the same places after ten or so years  (front and rear chassis legs,sills and of course rear arches mainly is depressing when the rest of the car is so sound but that's cars for you.

The biggest heaviest thing I've had in my estate was a fruit machine. and even funnier still was it seemed to be quicker too on the journey home..

Changed the water pump earlier. and hopefully the coolant wont all leak out again like it did previously
