Parma Violets, that were 2/6d a quarter in 1967, and sold from a lovely shaped jar, and not to be confused with the modern version sold in a small round packet.
By then I was a counter assistant in a confectioners and I spent my hard earned wages on these beauties when other sweets were about 7d a quarter. Damned expensive by lovely!

He seems a nice lad...... dropped them off to go bowling followed by something to eat, while I went to visit swmbo, they had a lovely evening........
In the car on the way home it was party cd on, volume up, they were singing and moving to
the music, it was lovely to see her so happy, especially under the circumstances.........
