Is it possible to fit an AR35 from a Carlton into an Omega?

Thanks,

Dipstick tube will need removing and blanking off. Other than that Im not sure if anything is different.

Women are like an AR35. lovely things, but nobody really understands how they work.

I intended to retain the dipstick with suitable modification, when I started to modify mine to fit. It may have required a new tube/and or stick. I liked the idea, also the drain plug on the sump, which, incidentally, will fit the Omega box. See other thread regarding differences. :y

Thanks for the information.

I can't seem to find the other thread about this. Does anyone have a link to it?

I think that by other thread Shackeng was referring to your other thread in the parts section?Although I'm sure someone will be able to find his old thread on the subject and link to it.

Sorry I didn't realise that when I posted. I think it may be easier to get an Omega AR35....seems complicated otherwise!

No need to apologise to me  :y I think you're right though getting one from an Omega would be the easier way forward, there are some on here who break Omegas who may have one or there's someone on E-bay that others on here have bought stuff from[goes under the name of Omega52 or similar]who's in Nottingham who you could try.

Have you tried Serek? He sometimes has an AR35, and is very helpful. :y

I have contacted Omega52 on Ebay but am waiting for him to get back to me. I want one quite soon as I am unsure how long mine will last. Some days it's fine, others it slips and becomes a bit erratic.  :-\

Will give him a try  :y
