My Giff Gaff is working ok now. It was an O2 failure i believe.

and I seem to recall they outsource a lot of the infrastructure support, so o2 probably don't understand why either

Ah, my contact suggests its Ericsson's fault, and they might have screwed a database...

Seems they've been busy selling all sorts of shares globally today.  :-\

According to many comments on the message boards it's down to BREXIT, which is not bad for an insignificant speck in the North Atlantic to cause a world wide stock market crash!  :)

I know you jest, but to prove the point...


Being an insignificant spec, notice how that although it had a significant impact on the country - including online sales - nobody beyond those countries affected (O2 UK were not the only ones affected) even noticed.

The shenanigans at a Chinky network hardware supplier has caused more impact to global markets.
