Car tax

Hi all
       Just recieved the post and in it i have my car tax renewal, it was a nice day, bloody hell my omega is going to cost me £215.00 for a year  :'( :'(
along with the stupied fuel cost  :( :(  looks like i'll keep the citreon ax running for a bit longer at 40 miles to the gallon

it'll twice that for newer migs  :o

Or put LPG on it and cut the fuel bill by half  :y :y

6 Months Rate       £143.00
12 Months Rate       £260.00

shows it all, the important statement for us is :

* Band K includes cars that have a CO2 figure over 225g/km but were registered before 23 March 2006

as that limits what the newer omega's (post march 2001) have to pay.
without that they would be band M and come in at £460!  :o


and if you could buy a new omega today, its first year roadtax would be £1000! dropping to just £460 thereafter!

Funny this is mentioned, for my previous 2.2 for the 4yrs i had it, taxed it every 6mths, and looking at the discs they were always increasing in price, never was there a year it was the same price.  >:( >:( >:(

That's what i pay for my Ro :'( Best is, she sits in the garage 99% of the time ::) :(

Yeah but for £1.26* a day its worth it just to hear the sound it makes ;D ;D ;D
