Wasnt too sure where to post this question, but i thought it prob best here.

Since im now getting a collection of vx's.....i have noticed the power steering in my Omega is a lot heavier than the Veccys I have.....ok its not bad and nothing wrong with it i suspect....and i know the Omega is a lot heavier than the Veccy's. The power steering in the Veccy's is amazingly light and thought if only the Omega was this light.

Now ive always thought that the power steering is programmable...i assume its ecu controlled, as obviously you get less power steering the faster you go.

So the million dollar question is......if hooked up to a real TECH2 can the power steering be made 'lighter' when hardly moving or stationary??  :-/

Cheers

Try putting air into the front tyres ;D

30psi AA......Altho if i put 50psi in them it might make the power steering lighter....but probably would have other undesired effects  ;D

AA has a point about the tyre pressures, the book says 30.5 in mine. Bit accurate for Vaux!

Anywho we got some of those nice new digital machines at our BP were you enter in the pressure amount, then wack it on the tyre and it does it all automatically.

Trouble is i can have 30, 31, 32, you can't have .5's

So mine are set at 31 all round.
