Could be a long night ahead. lol.
Got a knocking from steering, sounds like it's coming from by the pedals as opposed to outside the cockpit.
Think its only when I turn the steering wheel to the right though. only noticing it at low speeds, i.e. when parking.
Whats the problem likely to be and how do I solve it? Is it still safe to drive?

Have taken dash out of donour mig in just over 2 hours with very little damage to anything until we got to the wall of plastic behind the centre console which we took a number of various screws / bolts out of still to find none of the plastic wanted to come away.
It went smoething like plastic meet hammer.  >:(bang..... wallop..... crack...... snap. Matrix flow and return pipes off bit more cracking and snapping and yeah the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. a good condition heater matrix with no gunge or crud coming out. flushed matrix and short pipes that go through bulk head, sorted.
 Then it dawned on me , I can't bang or wallop the mountain of plastic in the recieving car.  :-/Any idea's on how to gently remove the mound of plastic air vents and tunnels. Just cant wait to be driving in a nice warm mig again. Thinking it's going to take bit longer to replace the good for the bad. Also how does one remove dash withought simply chopping the feeds to the passanger air bag? Another floor in my vague plan.  
Sorry so long winded. bit tired after three long days and very little sleep.  :-/

Omega General Help / mayo on my oil filler cap

Sounds bad??? Oil check came up on dash display so went to put more oil in and found mayo/ oil/ water on filler cap. Thinking BAD thoughts at this point but had to get home and no trace on dip stick. so i put the oil in and checked it regularly for the last week no more mayo.
I usually do approx 30 miles a day just work and back, since topping up the oil have been doing more milage, mostly on dual carriageway.
Could it have just been condensation   or do I need to check head gasket?

I think the heater matrix has given up the ghost, Driving along one evening on an unlit B road get a hissing sound & a pop and the car fills with steam, that was nearly the end. But thank goodness both the Elite and I are still here. Not much fun having no heating or de-misting ability in -5 wether conditions at 6 am. Think I have found a new matrix on http://www.carcooling.co.uk all inclusive price with delivery is £55.85, Can anyone tell me if thats about right? Next question well more of an assumption - taking the dash out and fitting the new matrix??
Scale of 1 - 10 (1 being changing a tyre and 10 complete engine rebuild) How difficult is it to change?
Next problem, Think I have a couple of dodgy tappits, very tappy sounds suspect?
Drivers heated seat not working either?
Any help would be very greatfull. Si

I have had a great one, have been given an omega 3L v6 by my step dad which I have been borrowing whilest my own car has been off the road awaiting money to give it full service and few minor bits of MOT prep. Cars for Sale & wanted / For sale 3L V6 Elite 98 reg auto

Main reason for regrettable sale due to running cost (i.e. 24 MPG average) which I know for the lump and size of the car is quite respectable. Although I truly love this car and in the short 7 months I have owned her she has given me so much pleasure, comfortable motoring and all fairly hassle free other than the heater matrix blowing. I do have a good condition replacement just not had the time to replace it.
Have got pics but need help to put them on here.
She has done 190k, got no MOT left, only a month and a bit of Tax. As far as I am aware but NOT making any promises or guarantee's the only thing she will need for MOT is new hand brake shoes. Nearly new tyres all round, she had all her suspension replaced and service less than a year ago. Other than general wear and tear she is in good condition aside from the usual rear arches rusting along with a couple of other spots. Navy blue in colour. Couple of dinks and scratches on body but nothing major. Interior is very clean, grey leather. All electrics work well apart from passenger rear window doesn't open, think the motor has gone but again just not got round to checking it and doing the work.
Like I have already said this is a regrettable sale , I love her to bits but my boss can't see the justification of me asking for a pay rise simply for me to keep her.
I don't want silly money for her under the circumstances but am open to sensible offers baring in mind that my local scrappy gave me £120 for the rot box donor mig I took last week.
Think that's about it, any more info required please PM me will reply A.S.A.P. or when pc will let me on net.

Any one know where or who is best to get bleed nipples from price isn't really an issue on this one its an I needed it yesterday morning to put on to replace today for MOT tomorrow or rather in a few hours?

As many of you may have noticed I've not had me mig long and having bought a donor for a few parts. Am feeling a bit aprehensive  :-/ and overwhelmed   , was wondering if there is anyone on the site near my area perhaps available for an eveings advice and guideance. Sorry if I sound cheeky. I live in Bangor North Wales, Garage is over on Anglesey where it would be best for me to meet as that's where the donor and tools e.t.c. are with coffee on tap and local chinese on offer.
