I know this may not be to everyone's taste, but my mate Jamie is organising Japan North 2008 for Sunday 17th August, this is now booked, confirmed and official, and may probably appeal to more local people for a decent day out, its FREE to come down, may be parking costs set by haigh hall, that apply to all visitors even if not to the car show

SELECTION OF LAST YEAR'S PICS (facebook group link, might need to be registered/logged in to view??)

At just 20 years old he organised his first show last year and it was a completely flawless success with an unpredictably huge turnout, there are alot of forum enthusiasts like ourselves, professionally modified japanese sports cars and several trade companies will have stands, not to mention a raffle with some valuable prizes. the pics on the flyer are actually from last year's show!

well its a free day out and plenty of notice given so if you happen to be anywhere near the north west on the date in question, feel free to peruse the displays of sports cars!!

wanted to bump this since it's approaching soon (2 weeks) so if anyone local has nowt to do on that sunday, tis a good free event!

there's now a buying facility now for raffle tickets on the actual website www.japannorth.co.uk, prizes are not bad at all!

Today's show was a big success, apart from the weather last night having a bad effect on the grass, but it wasnt enough to put people off!

i shant be linking shedloads of pics onto here but i'll be uploading a decent handful onto the Japan North 2008 Facebook page and will link in here some time in the week, there will be quite alot!
