Sunroofs pointless things, I actively look to shut the blind on my 3.2 to reduce wind roar at motorway speeds.
Seals failing?

No water getting in, but guess it's just age and poor condition and letting noise in.

Given that to notice a leak it would have to be catastrophic... (or drains blocked) ;D

Mr Tunnie is correct. A sunroof will rob you of headroom, increase noise, lessen structural rigidity........and eventually piss water into the car.

I need to hear more of this. :y

But you're right, Opti, sunroofs are work of Satin, and its not worth the trip to Oxford :P.

Get a nice Mundano Diesel instead.

Nope, just a newer version (2015) of what I already have ........with a sunroof.

What's prompted the change? I didn't think the current encumbant was that old  :-\

I believe my views of cars running on 'narrow boat fuel' are well documented on here. :P :P :P

It isn't, Jimmy. July 2013 to be exact. The last XFR's were manufactured in 2015 and I quite fancy one of the last. They are pretty rare,  only 35 for sale on Autotrader. I just love these cars.

That's good :) I thought you were having issues with it, which would be sad.

I very much like a lot of the "R" jags, S-type, Both XJ's, XK and the XF. A 5.0 XF is firmly on the list once my daily commute drops below 20 miles or so. How hard is the suspension on the R's? Father had an RS6 for a while, but I couldn't live with that suspension day to day. Iirc they did a wheezy N/A 5.0 with standard suspension which may do.

I have been a passenger in an RS6 Avant and the ride is like concrete. :-\

My Jag, even in Sport mode and riding on twenty inch wheels is like a feather-bed in comparison. The Germans tend to like everything rock hard.

I loved a XF-S that was for sale locally, I sat in one and started her up, 3.0 diesel  8)

Super comfy place to be, very nice interior.

Trouble is it lacked practicality, mainly the boot, could not do duel role of family car. Once I get MrsT her mummy bus, I would strongly consider switching to one.
